Is working out scary for you? Does the thought of walking into a gym gives you the nervous nillies or make you shudder?? We understand that. It is difficult starting a new habit and physical fitness can be a very intimidating habit to start. With that in mind, we try and make it as easy as possible for you. We take 3 weeks to teach you all the basics you will need either to start our program or to have the confidence to walk into any gym and know what you are doing. Each week has 3 classes where we work in small groups to teach you no more than 3 moves a day, put you through a workout, and then give an informative lecture on a variety of topics. We discuss nutrition, how to and when to eat, recovery and the different modalities to help you recovery faster, how to prevent injuries, general gym etiquette (apparently it is frowned upon to use weights from somebody else’s bar, who knew!!), and the importance of mobility/stretching.
We run this program 3 days a week on a rotating schedule. This means if you want to start, you can do so immediately! Classes do not build in each other, so you can join at any time. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 9:30am. If this sounds like something that fits for you, give us call or shoot us an email.
