The Olympic lifts are based on hours and hours of technique work. Come and learn how to perform the snatch and clean and jerk under the tutelage of a level 2 weightlifting coach. We coach the Olympic lifts and well as their related barbell movements for fitness, sports performance, and competition. All levels of skill are welcome!
Training requires a time commitment. If you are in the New Orleans area and want to lift, we have classes daily from 7pm-8:30 pm and Sunday from 10:30-11:30 am. Programming will be individual for what class lifter you are as well as what technique and accessory lift you need to perform.
The pinnacle of training is to compete. We encourage all our lifters to compete in local meets as well as aim for higher goals. We have one National lifter and are looking to increase our team! If you think you have what it takes and are willing to put in the work, please come speak to us!

Barbell Club Coaching hours: These are times when there is a coach present to help teach you movements and refine your technique.
- Monday: 1:00-3:30pm, 7-8:30pm
- Tuesday: 1:00-3:30pm
- Wednesday: 7-8:30pm
- Thursday: 1:00-3:30pm
- Friday: 1:00-3:30pm
- Saturday: 10:30am –12pm
- Sunday: 10:30am-12pm
Barbell Club Open Gym: These are times that there is not a coach present but you are welcome to come and lift as long as you are following a weightlifting program.

- Friday: 4:30-6:30pm
